Ryan Soper is a senior cybersecurity leader and U.S. Veteran with 15+ years operationalizing security across enterprise IT, cloud, and critical infrastructure. His work spans penetration testing (network, web, mobile, cloud, ICS/OT), security program build-outs, and advising leadership on risk and resilience.
Beyond the day job, Ryan stays active in the security and builder communities. He is a member and leader with DC813 (Tampa's DEF CON group), Co-Leader of the OWASP Tampa chapter, and a board member of the Area Maritime Security Committee, Western Florida (AMSC-WF), where he helps shape maritime security posture across the region.
He is also a member of (ISC)², ISACA, InfraGard, Neon Temple, Tampa Devs, and the broader BSides community: groups where practitioners share what actually works, not just what slides well.
